Greetings Kw5kw! Several individuals have already answered this question, but I would like to highlight their point again. There is no difference in the New Testament between 'faith' and 'belief'. 'Faith' is a translation of the Greek noun 'pistis'. 'Believe' is a translation of the Greek verb 'pisteuo'. The two words have exactly the same meaning, except that one is a noun and one is a verb. :-) We simply cannot read English distinctions back into the original Greek words.
