Taking a wild guess, I would venture that what you are trying to say -- but I'm by no means sure! -- is that there is a difference between saving faith and what James in his Epistle calls "dead" faith, a.k.a., "intellectual" or "historical" faith in Christ. But to argue that faith and belief are not birds of a feather is sawing sawdust. --Hank | ||||||

Grammar Correction: Greetings Hank, yes, that is precisely what the Holy Spirit, James, and I "am" trying to say. Basically "belief" absent of "faith" is not "truly believing" and is therefore dead. Good to hear from you again...nite :-) |
