Indeed I would agree, John (Kalos), that an "Apostate Christian" is as much a contradiction of terms as, say, using an expression such as "regenerate infidel" or something of the sort. How often, alas, we see on these pages certain "pseudo-theological" terms -- and long dissertations in their wake -- profferred in the obvious hope of projecting profound theological erudition, private revelation and supernatural insight; but invariably they turn out to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors, glitter and fluff -- sheer gobbledygook and deceptive withal. --Hank | ||||||

Greetings Hank! I remember when I was in college that an author came to speak to us about the gift of 'carnality'. :-( He tried to build the case that some Christians acutally have a gift of carnality. Since that day, I realize that anything is possible! ;-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
