1 | cult by what definition? | Bible general Archive 1 | In the Andes | 57302 | ||
Just a minute. Do you not find nailing yourself to the cross to pay for your own sins at odds with orthodoxy? Do you not find praying to Mary at odds with orthodoxy? Must I waste my time and energy typing out every little scripture with this issue? How about purgatory? Now on to WoF. Let's talk about heretical practices. I sent Kalos the list of tenets of faith for Ken Hag. min and the AGs. they are almost identical. If I am understanding you correctly, "As far as heretical practices within any other denomination, since that is not the basis of their belief and is not part of their statement of faith, nor is the direction or vision of the denomination I see no point in making an issue of them." Then why would you have anything to say against WoF. Their tenets are the same. I didn't think you thought I was nor did I think you implied me to be a heretic. Even if you did, it wouldn't bother me in the least. Don't worry about it. |

Scripture ... Gal 1:6-10, 1 Tim 6:6-10 ... In the Andes, The WoF, Hagin and others may have the same basic tenants as a true Christian group. However, they add (or take away) from the Gospel, making it no Gospel a.k.a. a cult. There are other passage they take out of context ... making it pretext. Study the history of Israel. They wanted to mix their worship and service of God with other gods ... to their demise. Searcher |
