1 | Why? | Luke 17:3 | Pete2 | 120939
I am not being unfair. In the city where I live, there are moslem groups. They have spokesman. They were silent after 9-11. Why? They could have said, "We condemn their actions". They didn't. That is a fact. More facts? I do not know of a Moslem group or even a single individual speak out against what was done. Even Louis Fericon (sp) doesn't. I am sorry I am saying negative things. Most of you folks are pleasantly positive. I appreciate you wanting to stay with scripture. But that is impossible without application. In this country, we have made it possible for people to co-exist. Although, the government will give a stage for anti-christian and not christian. It has moved that far. I have been trying to understand the apathy and I think I do now. On the Moslem faith, I did not say anything that was far off the mark. I am not going out on the web to back any of it. That is past my mission. Also, the truth is learned by starting with less perhaps. I never silence people when they try. I have |

2 | Why? | Luke 17:3 | EdB | 120947
Pete2 First I heard many Muslims apologize for 911. However I believe much of it was lip service in effort to present themselves as peaceful, but the Bible tells us we can’t accurately tell the condition of the heart. In any case you wrong Muslims did apologize and many on national TV. Louis Farrakhan is not representative of Islam but rather a black power political group called the Nation of Islam. Black Muslims divided a while back and true Islamic believers have distance themselves from Farrakhan. I could go through the history of Black Muslims but I have neither the time, space or desire. I hope I show nothing positive about Islam but I think we need to speak in truth. Islam is false religion manufactured by a man that was manipulated by is wealthy wife and deceived into believing his seizures were divine. Islam is constructed on man’s understanding of nature and why things happen. It has a mixture of Judaism in that it hold to the Pentateuch, but the similarity ends there. Your right we have in this country made a way for all religions to coexist. If we didn’t then eventually only one would. That is reason for this. I would like to see Islam eliminated but I know if we do it by legislating it we will be signing our own death warrant. We must do it by truth. If we can show those caught up in Islam that they can have a relationship with God, that Jesus died for their sins and set them free, that they too can be children of God they change and leave Islam. You did say things about Islam that were totally wrong however your not alone many do and they do it from both sides of the road. Some think Islam is a peaceful loving and up and coming religion and others take it as the cutthroats banded together to ravish the earth. Few take the time to find the truth. As a Christian Apologist I have studied and taught on Islam I know a little about their beliefs and teachings. While I totally disagree with all aspects of their religion I can not/will not stand by and let half truths and lies be told about them. EdB |

I truly appreciate your imput. I do not pretend to be a Moslem scollar. But I do know enough about the religion to know that they do not seek harmonious co-existance. I do not watch TV... ever. I haven't had it on in 6 months. It is unneeded. I listen to radio all day every day. I stand corrected if there were apologists that I missed. But if they would have mad it to radio, I would have heard them. On TV, I felt that I was in constant endoctrination. Even on the news channels. |

Pete2 Your right they do not seek to co-exist but neither does Christianity. We hold Jesus is the only way to God, believe me that does not instill warm fuzzies on non Christians, in fact some feel is it reason to fight. I agree one hundred percent with you view of TV but I have heard on both TV and Radio apologies for 911. As I said I may still question all their motives but it is fact they were offered. We all heard of the torture of prisoners in Iraq do you think every Christian needs to apologize for that. I don't! I despise what took place but it was not my religion that caused it. It was caused by the fallen nature of man. We still need to speak in truth and in love no matter how wrong we believe another religion to be. If we don’t then we have to ask are we any better than them? EdB |
