1 | WHERE IS YOUR COMPASSION? | Matt 16:6 | PastorFloyd | 90819
You don't believe that a man can have a regular job and still be a pastor? The Pastor for the congregation I go to is a full-time cop with a wonderful Children and Youth ministry. I have a Children's Ministry also. Children of Grief Ministry. Does that make me any the less a Pastor. I am the Childrens Pastor of the congregation where I go. That is my title. That is my ministry. Read the Book of Job, where he stood in place at the altar for his children. Everything that Job went through he did it in the space of less than nine months. Again read it. |

Floyd Your vocation has no bearing on your being a pastor. It is the compassion you show. Sir you basically ridiculed a man in a wheel chair saying he didn't have enough faith to get out. Any way you cut it that is not pastor. You may have a ministry, you may stand before people but that doesn't make you a pastor. Pastor tend to the sheep, feed the sheep and care for sheep. A pastor does not slice them up. EdB |

3 | WHERE IS YOUR COMPASSION? | Matt 16:6 | PastorFloyd | 90856
A few years ago I was in a fix almost like that man in the wheelchair. A man told me I did not have enough faith to be healed and I would not get healed the way I was going. FACT 1. THAT changed my way of thinking. I built up my healing faith FACT 2. I received from God what He wanted me to have. FACT 3. I am not now nor have I been in that condition since. FACT 4. I did not ridicule a man in a wheelchair. I tried to get him to think in a different way. Not to my way of thinking but that God may have said the thing that I have been trying to get across. I am not elequent like some people. I am not a scholar or a theologian. I am a man that likes to talk about the good things that God has for us. I believe that God wants me to live a good abundant life and I like to share those things that He has given me with others. I have been healed of a debilitating disease, so I know where the man is coming from. I have seen my wife healed from a crippling disease and I have seen others delivered from debilitating diseases and infirmities. Being in a wheel chair, even if he is preaching the Word of God, is not glorifying to God and no matter how you slice it, or honey-coat it, can there be any glory in being in a wheelchair. What does glorify God is getting out of that wheelchair and if he gets mad at what I or you say and that starts him to thinking in a new way then maybe, just maybe, he will rise out of that wheelchair and give God the glory He so richly deserves. FACT: He does not have enough faith to get out of that wheelchair. FACT: When he builds himself up in his faith, HE WILL rise out of that wheelchair and give God the glory for doing so. Again, I do not ridicule any man and God knows that I did not ridicule the man. |

floyd "Being in a wheel chair, even if he is preaching the Word of God, is not glorifying to God and no matter how you slice it, or honey-coat it, can there be any glory in being in a wheelchair" Once again you show how shallow your thinking is. Think about it, think about what you just said. Does not a testimony of one praising God in affliction mean more than the testimony of 20 that have never been afflicted? I wouldn't brag about your lack of education after making statements like the one above. EdB |
