Is it the money or the Rolls Royce that bugs you? You need the wisdom of God to handle the wealth of God! Fred Price, Charles Stanley, David Hocking, Blly Gramham and etc. are all men of God and believe me Jesus is not weeping. God bless |

You are in great error! Billy Gramham, David Hocking and Charles Stanley in NO WAY agree with the Reverand Fred Price! I think you have assumed these true Godly men have taken a stand that is in keeping with the WOF false teachers. Have you ever seen these so called WOF preachers on any platform with any of these men? Has any of these real men of God ever gone to or been with these WOF preachers? To many its the car that makes the man. To others it's the man that uses his lifestyle as a way of showing what moderate prudent stewardship is. We are to use things and to love people, not love things and use people. Do you see a problem with how wealth is a pprimary objective of these WOF preachers? Yes we need wisdom to know what is earned wealth, and what is taken from the from the people and used to live extravent outlandish lifestyles. I have yet to ever hear from a person that gave a sacrifice seed offering to the WOF preachers that promised wealth in return for the persons "tithe", that has become wealthy! But maybe it was their lack of faith in the faith the WOF preachers that was not strong enough. I do say if Jesus wept over the Jews that would not follow His way, of SERVING and suffering, and live out what He preached, Jesus would weep in shame of men like Fred Price and other WOF preachers. I challenge you to show the financial responsibility that any WOF ministry has helped any of the ministries that these Godly men serve, you brought up. These WOF ministries or building kingdoms unto themselves, to support lifestyles that are not compatable with Jesus teachings! I sincerely am not tring to get you angry, nor am I tring to imply your are not a Christian! My hope is that in some way something I point out to you might shine through that would cause you to look closley at the lifestyles and teachings of these wof PREACHERS IS not TRUTH, OR EVEN BIBLICAL. I am convienced if you ever got a true grasp of the falsehoods this WOF movement represents you would see how damaging this false teaching is. I pray for that end. justme |

In 1988, an ORU student named D.R. McConnell published a thesis on the Word of Faith movement that would shock the Christian world (or at least the Christians in America). The title of this book was A Different Gospel. Supposedly, this book revealed the shocking "truth" concerning the origin of the teachings of Essek William Kenyon. This book supposedly revealed that Kenyon's teachings were not influenced by divine revelation or Evangelical Christianity, but by Christian Science and other Metaphysical influences. The premise of the book was this: First prove that E.W. Kenyon had metaphysical and cultic influences in his writings and teachings. Then show that well known Faith teacher, Kenneth Hagin Sr., whom so many believed was the father of the modern day faith movement, to have plagiarized Kenyon's writings. If you can do that then you have made Kenyon the true father of the modern day faith movement. By making Kenyon the true father of the modern day faith movement, you can then prove that the whole movement is cultic and heretical. This book was a great weapon in the hands of those who already had a bone to pick with the modern day faith teachers. Now they had research and scholarship on their side. This book was considered to be THE book to reference if one desired to receive accurate information on this movement. That is, until Hendrik Hanegraaf came out with his landmark book, Christianity In Crisis. Now those who opposed this movement had two weapons in their hands to confront those smart aleck, cocky Word of Faith people. I will only quote from one more source. Dr. Frederick K.C. Price, the pastor of Crenshaw Christian Center in California has also suffered false accusations and misunderstandings from the critics of the faith movement. However, in his book, How Faith Works, Dr. Price took the time to explain the differences between Bible faith and the teaching of cults such as Christian Science. Dr. Price relates in his book about a battle he had with a tumor on his chest. He went though surgery to have it removed but some of it had already spread and started growing back. He decided this time to stand on the Bible and trust God for his healing. Dr. Price began quoting Matthew 8:17 and 1 Peter 2:24 to himself.. He went through some trials as the tumor seemingly got worse. Nevertheless, Dr. Price continued declaring God's Word. Eventually his faith was rewarded (Heb. 11:6). During the testimony, which is in much more detail in his book than what I have related, Dr. Price said this: I never went around saying I didn't hurt when in fact I did hurt. If you do that you're getting over into the realm of Christian Science and the mind science religions. You're saying the thing doesn't exist. I've never said it wasn't there. I never said the thing wasn't hurting. I didn't say anything about it at all. I ignored it. I only talked about what I believed. And I said, "I believe that I am well. I believe that I am healed." I did believe because the Word of the Lord said to believe that I receive and I'd have it. This book was first written in 1976, long before the accusations that have been leveled against the faith teachers. I personally believe that the critics of faith teaching were on an agenda, one which was not from God. God bless |

TBN - The Blasphemy Network 'It is indeed ironic that a broadcasting network called "Trinity" would promote anti-Trinitarian doctrine.' Matthew 7:22-23 (ESV) On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' [23] And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' 'Paul Crouch* 'Paul Crouch and his wife, Jan, are the founders of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, which today has an estimated net worth of half a billion dollars. As Crouch himself puts it, "God has, indeed, given us the MOST POWERFUL VOICE in the history of the WORLD."65 Unfortunately, this voice is being used to promote teachings straight from the kingdom of the cults. Crouch's influence has become so vast that he can now raise as much as 50 million dollars during a single "Praise-a-Thon." What many of the well-intentioned Christians who support TBN do not know, however, is that part of this money goes to promoting cultic groups and individuals who not only deny the Trinity but claim that this essential of Christianity is a pagan doctrine.66 It is indeed ironic that a broadcasting network called "Trinity" would promote anti-Trinitarian doctrine. 'To those who would speak out against the false teachings proliferated on his network, Crouch has this to say: "I think they're damned and on their way to hell; and I don't think there's any redemption for them."67 Shortly after I met with Crouch to prove that the Faith movement compromises essential Christian doctrine, Crouch looked into the lens of the television camera and angrily declared, "If you want to criticize Ken Copeland for his preaching on faith, or Dad Hagin, get out of my life! I don't even want to talk to you or hear you. I don't want to see your ugly face. Get out of my face, in Jesus' name."68' _______________ *Paul Crouch.
