Subject: What other Immanuel was born of a virgin |
Bible Note: You haven't a Bible to look up passages or does it even matter? Seems like you can be shown things in black and white and still say that's not saying that. Why are you trying to disprove Jesus is God? That is the whole idea of being a Christian. John 5 22For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Life and Judgment Are Through the Son 24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. Sounds like Jesus, the Son of God saying He was going to judge, that means you too, better listen to him! John 9 True Vision and True Blindness 35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the Son of God?"[1] 36He answered and said, "Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?" 37And Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you." Sounds pretty plain to me! John 10 14I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17"Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father." John 10 27My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. 30I and My Father are one." Read the whole Good Shepherd story, the sheep know who He is, are you one? Do you want to be??? John 16 28I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father." The cycle of divinity of Jesus explained by Him. I typoed earlier, it was 16, not 17-sorry! |
