Bible Question:
Aften1, Here is the bible verse that Hank gave you: John 14 6Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Christ and His disciples were all Jews. But read what Paul said of his former jewish religion of Pharisis: Philippians 3 3For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit,[1] rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, 4though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: 5circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; 6concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. 8Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ Aften1, are you a Christian? Pastor Glenn |
Bible Answer: Well done Pastor Glenn: Notice in Revelation 21:22 the Lord God Almighty is spoken of , also the Lamb. These are two different personalities. Immanuel and Jesus are spoken of here. Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Also as an after thought notice in Rev15 song of Moses, song of the Lamb and the Praise given to the Lord God Almighty. Revelation 15 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. There is only on verse in the KJV of the Bible where the word Omnipotent appears. This would be the Creator Father - Father of Immanuel and by extension Jesus for all are one. And that verse is Rev 19:6 Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. As to your question: Am I Christian? I stand in service to Father and the honor is mine. |
