Subject: Aften1, are you a Christian? |
Bible Note: Pastor Glenn, I will take a look at the word Christ in the Bible. You have not provided a verse in the Bible that says one must accept Christ before they can serve Father. I suspect the word Christ is a title and a licence of some sort given by God to the Son. Also Jesus the Christ never lays claim to being God. Jesus says that he is the Son of God. Now show me a verse were Jesus lays claim to be God? You will not because he is Immanuels Son ... Son of God. Not to worry because Immanuel came unto his own (incarnate Angels on Earth) and his own received him not, but has many that did receive him he gave them the power to be Sons of God (Paraphrased verse because I did not look it up). However as I have tried to inform you Immanuels name (God is with us) is the only begotten of Father. Look at the verses below - I told you I am here to speak the truth. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (Whole Chapter: John 3 In context: John 3:15-17) John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
