Bible Note: Pete, I left that part out on purpose, thinking you would probably see your error. Since you didn't, here it is. First off, you missed the qualifying portion - too far. Deut. 14:24 states "...if the way be too long...; or if the place be too far..." Seeing as how there is virtually a church most anywhere nowadays, and if you're really in the boondocks, all that is needed is a phone call - there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for not getting your tithes and offerings to where they are supposed to go.
