Bible Note: Hi Pete and welcome to the forum. One of the worst things that I did years ago was to try and understand the Bible by starting in Genesis. One cannot understand God's word apart from being lead by His Spirit and in order to do that one needs a relationship with God's Son Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. The best advice that I could give you would be to start in the New Testament with Matthew and up through John then read John again before reading anything else. Be sure and ask God to reveal the truth to you before you study. Have a great day, CDBJ |
