Subject: Kill your brother and drink strong drink |
Bible Note: Pete, Is there someone you're really wanting to kill? If so, please speak with your pastor about your problem. If not, then why are you carrying on so? The Old Testament is wonderful to read. But in some areas, you must remember the laws were given to a people that were a nation unto themselves, whether in the wilderness or in their own land. Their ONLY law was God, nothing and no one else. For the most part, Pete, man's laws are not that much different from God's. And where they are a bit different, I'm not too terribly concerned about whether or not someone leading me astray to another god will be killed or not - ain't no body gonna be leading this King's kid astray, so all can live. :o) Maybe it would be better if you get to KNOW your Lord before delving into the Torah (the first 5 books of the Bible). It can be confusing. :o) Cheri |
