Subject: Alternative to the term "Jesus is LORD"? |
Bible Note: Greetings Pilgrim and I would like, at this late time, welcome you to the forum. It would be a help to those posting with you if you could take the time and share a little something about yourself. There is a RESOURCES section on the lower left side of the HOME page with the words, “Update User Info”; left click on this and you will see what I mean. You can also click on the author’s name of any post and see something about the one who posted the thread. I think the subject of communicating the fact that “Jesus is Lord” is within the confines of the work of the Holy Spirit. It’s our responsibility to crank out the gospel message every chance we get and expound on the person and work of Jesus. 1 Cor. 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. I further believe that the only way that this is true is when the following action has transpired and the truth about God’s Messiah is a “reality” in ones mental frame of reference as it was with Peter. Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Have a great day, CDBJ |
