Subject: Will worshiping the Lord change in Rev? |
Bible Note: God's day to you, Fellow Pilgrim, I have a problem ... while He is our Brother, based on the fact He is THE Son of God (Matt 16:16ff, et. al.) and we are sons of God (Gal 3:26) ... and what He said (Matt 12:48ff) ... while we bow before Him in worship, He is our Lord. We do cheapen His Lordship if we think He will lift us up and say we are His brother/sister. I think about Esther. While the king was her husband, and I presume they were intimate ... she had to approach him as her king, not husband. He responded as king, not her husband (Est 4:15ff). God is many things, but if we forget He is our Lord, who has absolute rule over us ... we are in trouble. Searcher |
