AMPLIFIED 2015 | Deuteronomy 11:19 "You shall teach them [diligently] to your children [impressing God's precepts on their minds and penetrating their hearts with His truths], speaking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. |
Subject: Alternative to the term "Jesus is LORD"? |
Bible Note: God's day to you, Fellow Pilgrim, Let me add to the excellent posts. Our Western world has dumbed down many words, and continue to do so. On lord, we don't have anyone who has absolute rule over us and our choice is to obey him without question. He provides and takes away, as He did for Job. It is interesting that when people say they feel His presence, they don't fall to the ground and bow before Him ... my view of worship. When a judge enters/leaves THEIR courtroom, all rise. They are in charge, tho some try to debate the judge's rule. Searcher |
