AMPLIFIED 2015 | Deuteronomy 11:19 "You shall teach them [diligently] to your children [impressing God's precepts on their minds and penetrating their hearts with His truths], speaking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. |
Subject: Alternative to the term "Jesus is LORD"? |
Bible Note: Pilgrim, you say "To use the term God or LORD is not appropriate today." My dear fellow, what on earth are you suggesting? That we take it upon ourselves to rewrite the Scriptures, removing both words? Why should you or anyone else under the sun feel a need to take God out of the Bible? Do you not believe 2 Timothy 3:16, that all Scripture is God-breathed? Do you think you or anybody else can rewrite Scripture and do a better job than God did originally? I'm sorry that I have to be so candid with you, but your proposal falls flat with me, friend. --Hank |
