AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 5:33 However, each man among you [without exception] is to love his wife as his very own self [with behavior worthy of respect and esteem, always seeking the best for her with an attitude of lovingkindness], and the wife [must see to it] that she respects and delights in her husband [that she notices him and prefers him and treats him with loving concern, treasuring him, honoring him, and holding him dear]. Bible Note: Rabbi Mark, With my hands lifted up! With my mouth filled with praise! With a heart of thanksgiving! I will bless the Lord my God! Welcome to the forum! This is a great place to study the word of the Lord our God! I haven't been very active on the forum lately because I have been busy at my job. I do check in from time to time and I noticed your post. I read some of this thread and was a little disturbed by what was written to a very dear sister, Mommapbs, and to a very dear brother, Emmaus. Might I suggest that you do some research on these two members of the forum. It is simple. Just "click" on their names on this thread and you can read all of their postings. There is one particular thing that you wrote about in response to Mommapbs that I would like to respond to. You wrote "These two quotes are the perfect example of why a woman should learn in silence and not be suffered to teach. You have proven in your own words that women easily fall prey for spiritual counterfeits." How would this portion of scripture relate to that? or Does it? Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. In Christ our Lord, Cyclist I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |
