AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 5:33 However, each man among you [without exception] is to love his wife as his very own self [with behavior worthy of respect and esteem, always seeking the best for her with an attitude of lovingkindness], and the wife [must see to it] that she respects and delights in her husband [that she notices him and prefers him and treats him with loving concern, treasuring him, honoring him, and holding him dear]. Bible Note: Thank you Emmaus for such excellent Scriptures. Romans 7:4-6 tells us that we have died to Moses' teaching through Christ's body. . . we have died to those laws that bound us. God has broken their effect on us so that we are serving in a new spiritual way, not in the old way dictated by written words. Once again, perfect love casts out fear! Oh that all would be able to recieve the perfect love of God in Christ that sets us free from the law! This love comples us to seek the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. This is a beautiful picture of what is ours in Christ, the complete fulfillment of the law and a new way to come into the presence of God as the writer of Hebrews reminds us in Hebrews 10:10-23. Perhaps we should also look seriously at Hebrews 9:31-10:4. Comments? In Him, mommapbs |
