Subject: God can use woman in the ministry? |
Bible Note: hva ‘ishshah ish-shaw’ is the Hebrew word for woman. It only occurs 2 times in Isaiah, and not in any of the verses you mentioned. I would suggest that you learn to use tools which allow you to see what is actually said in the original languages. There is a web site which offers a free bible program which contains excellent tools for studying the words in the original Hebrew and Greek. The URL is: http://www.OnlineBible.net Isaiah 45:10 (AV) Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? Isaiah 49:15 (AV) Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. |
