AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 3:28 There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority]. [Rom 3:22; 1 Cor 12:13] |
Bible Question: Apostle Paul would classify as a good Christian, before Jesus spoke to him, in the eyes of the world, but in Gods eyes, he was a Destroyer of his people, do we go by what the world views as a good Christian, or by what God views. In his heart Paul thought he was doing right, but his right was what the world taught him, Do we put are faith in the world to teach us or in the one God apointed to teach us, his only begoten son, The lord Jesus Christ |
Bible Answer: Paul never claimed to be any kind of Christian BEFORE Jesus spoke to him on the Damascus Road. Up until that point in his life Paul never claimed to be anything other than what he was: a Jew. A Jew, NOT a Christian. . . . What do we go by as far as ANY preacher is concerned? We go by what I alluded to when I quoted Acts 17:11. That is, we must test what any and every preacher teaches by comparing it with the Word of God, to see whether it lines up with the Word. If it doesn't, don't accept it, no matter who the preacher is. |
