Bible Note: Truthfinder However God introduces Himself to us as The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God Jacob. God then said this would be His name forever. Exodus 3:15 Moreover God said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: 'The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.' So the point I was making is no matter what name man makes up for God whether it be Jehovah, YHWH or Adonai; God says his name is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. God did say was also I AM Your right 'god' and 'lord' are not personal pronouns however 'God' and 'Lord' are. Since there is only one God and only one Lord. I hope this clears this up for you. EdB |
