Bible Note: Joe Excuse me but in the sentence I made, "If you go back to my first post on this subject you will see I openly admitted that God’s dealing with those that haven’t heard the scripture is "known" to me. the word known is a mistake I meant to say "unknown" to me. Of course sin is a problem but since Jesus paid the price of sin the problem becomes Whether or not we trust in Christ to be the propitiation of that sin. The patriarchs looked for a redeemer because they knew there was nothing they could do that would pay the price for their sin. We all are in sin and there is nothing we can do. The problem now becomes are we willing to accept Jesus as payment for our sin through grace. You can split hairs and try to proof text me to death but what is the message of the Bible? It is all men haved sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God, that God so loved the world He sent His only begotten son that whoever believed in Him should have life eternal. That Jesus gave His life as payment for our sin. To become partakers of that payment we must believe in Jesus and the one that sent Him EdB |
