Subject: Submissive or Suppressed Wills |
Bible Note: Hi WOS, You have done a exemplary work of research and analysis, and given us a clear, and Scripture-filled presentation. This can be a very confusing and complex topic, since the details are not spelled out, and we must reconcile many seemingly conflicting passages. I have one question for you regarding something you said. You wrote "God enables our will, forgoing suppression, and acts on it in such a way that causes us to willfully yield. We are responsive in as far as we willingly turn to faith in Christ in which previously, this desire did not exist within us and therefore we were unable." By this do you mean that the first consent to salvation we give is after the act of regeneration is completed? Love in Christ, Mark |
