Bible Note: 1. Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God and our savior. Jn 1:1-3,14 Heb. 7;25 2.Christ died one time for all to forfill the requirements of the law in which the wages of sin is death. Christ is our High Priest our savior and not a sabbath. Grace is being forgiven for your sin and not a licence to sin. Christ said if you love me keep my commandments. You cannot disregard not one of the commandments. By your teaching you are saying that I can murder, steal, hate my parents and still get into heaven because I am under grace and don't have to keep the law.Rom 6:23Rom 7:7 heb. 9:22-28 Rom. 6:1,2 3.Eph.2:8,9 Gal 2:16 Rom 3:20 No person will be saved by works. We keep the commandments because we love Christ and his laws are not greivious. For by the law we know what sin is. Mat 22:37-40 Rom 13:10 Love is the forfilling of the law. Rom 6:14,15. Shall we sin beccuse we are not under the law but under grace? God forbid. Rom. 3:19 those under the law are guilty before God. Grace gives us the opportunity to come to the cross and confess our sins and be forgiven. Rom 3:31 Do we make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Jn 14:15 If you love me keep my commandments. He didn;t say all except the 4th. James 2:20 Faith without works is dead. Mat 7:21 Noy everyone who says Lord lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father which is in heaven. ! jn. 2:4 He that saith I know him and keepht not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him. Mat 7:21-23 I never knew you depart from me. 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. Christ is our example and he kept the sabbath the seventh day of the week and we are commanded to keep it also if we love him. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengheneth me. And last of all for now on this topic, James 2:10-12 For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point he is guilty of all. For He that said do not commit adultry said also do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultry yet if thou kill thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye and so do as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. Here it says we are judged by the law of liberty which is all 10 of the commandments including the seventh day sabbath command. To keep saying Christ is a sabbath is speaking not to the word. If they speak not according to the LAW and the TESTAMONY there is no truth in them. 4. There are seventh day Baptist. Holiness, and others who keep the seventh day Holy, the Adventist teach that God has his Children in all the Churches. NEVER do they teach that they are the only ones who will be saved, quite the oppisite we teach that MANY in the Adventist Church will be lost because they cannot seperate form the world and hold to the faith. And unless you know the whole story on why we teach that the Mark of the beast is the day of the sun god baal, then you are making a judgement on Gods words and not having the facts. Carefull Sister you are on Holy ground here. We are bought with a price. A price paid by Christ on the cross, a one time sacrifice for all people who would come to him. Gal 2:20 Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. 2Tim 4:1-8 Read closely verse 4 And they shall turn away their ears form truth and shall turn to fables. 2 Th 2:1-17. Please tell me in what way are the adventist breaking the sabbath. Christ also was accused of sabbath breaking. This should be evidence enough that the sabbath of God establisthed at creation is still binding. |
