Bible Note: Mel, you wrote “The Sign given by Mark and Matthew (Rev.6:12-17) occurs "in the days after" the completion of 1260 days that begin with a not yet built third Temple.” Excuse me, but where pray tell does Scripture say that the temple that was destroyed in AD 70 WILL EVER be rebuilt? The Old Testament speaks often of the destruction of the temple that WAS destroyed. And the Old Testament speaks often of the rebuilding of that SAME destroyed temple. Ezra begins with the truth in verse one of chapter one. “In the first year of Cyrus, King of Persia, in order to FULFILL THE WORD OF THE LORD spoken by Jeremiah …” The Temple WAS REBUILT just as Jeremiah said, when he said it would, etc. That rebuilt Temple WAS destroyed in AD 70, JUST as Jesus promised it would be BEFORE some of His disciples died. There are NO SCRIPTURES (only uninspired footnotes) stating a third temple will ever be rebuilt. EVERY rebuilding of a Temple Scripture was given BEFORE the second temple was rebuilt. The book of Hebrews explains explicitly the reason why. Blessings, Taleb |
