Subject: must be theologians? |
Bible Note: Words fitly spoken, Brother Tim. Teaching with an eye to application is attractive. Might be good if every lesson included some role-play. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. I hope that some theologian reading this will decide to have his students to worship God after learning in class about him. He might decide to model it and ask them to follow his example, the way we do when teaching math. Reading Philippians 4;9, I think that was the way that Paul taught them. Reading 2 Timothy 3:10 onward, I get the impression that it was the way that he taught Timothy. |
