Bible Question:
Do babies and children go to heaven or hell? |
Bible Answer: To tell the truth, I don't know. I don't know if it is even possible to know. What I do know is this. God is almighty, merciful, just good, and the overflowing fountain of all good. He alone will decide this question. Because he is good, merciful, and kind, I have no fear that he will do something that is cruel. I can trust in him, and in his decisions. The other thing I know is that Job, who was a righteous man, offered daily sacrifices for the possible sins of his children.(Job 1:5) I would assume that God honored his sacrifices, for God answers the prayer of a righteous man. As Christians, I think what God wants from us is to pray for mercy for these little ones, as well as those who are mentally handicapped, or those who have not yet heard the gospel. |
