Subject: Do babies go to heaven or hell? |
Bible Note: Steve, one does not have to be a trained theologian to read Romans 1:18-32 and know that the stillborn, babies and the very young, and the mentally retarded are NOT included in the group of people about whom Paul is writing! In vs. 26,27, he refers to men and women -- not infants or stillborn -- as being the ones whom God gave up to "vile passions." How can infants and the stillborn be filled with "all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness"? (vs. 29). How can the still-born, infants or mentally retarded be included among the people Paul is describing in this passage? Can a still-born murder or engage in sexual immorality? The idea is unthinkable, and one has no business suggesting such an unscriptural concept on this Forum. Prove such statements by Scripture or retract them! --Hank |
