Subject: Why did God tell Abraham to kill his son |
Bible Note: Hi John, Smug? I thought there were rules on this board about treating others in the Love of Christ! John, you don't know me and have borne a false witness toward me. I do have a friend and he is a Christian who is bipolar. He comes up with these strange beliefs about Scripture. Like saying his family must sacrifice because of God's so called "call" on his life. He does not work but reads the Bible all day long - but comes up with these strange beliefs. His family is suffering and I am trying to help. He has asked this question concerning Abraham and I am trying to get him "NOT a religious answer" but a Biblical answer. To date you are no one else (including me) has been able to offer a Biblical response that makes sense. So before you start judging you should know a little bit more of the facts. Proverbs 18:13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. |
