Subject: Why did God tell Abraham to kill his son |
Bible Note: Hi WOS, Thanks for your kind response. Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. In this verse can we agree that God asked Abraham to offer his son as a burnt offering? And can we also agree that if Abraham had carried through with God's request that this would have resulted in Isaac's death? |
