21 | What is interpretation of Hebrews 6:4-6 | Heb 6:9 | Val | 220814
Mark those in this passage and you see a different group of people. Verse 9 explains that they are not of the those. In other words they cannot go back to the old covenant since they are now under the new covenant. The animal sacrifices occurred once a year for atonement. When Jesus sacrificed his life it was a perfect sacrifice and occurred only once. So anyone who goes back to the old covenant is showing that theirs is not a genuine conversion.
22 | Can you be pro-life but not do anything? | Genesis | Val | 220760
In this area it was the Catholic leaders who gave their votes to a pro abortion president. They were hurt financially by the scandal of priests who were committing criminal charges against children. They hoped to bring in the immigrants to raise their financial support. Although both people running for president were pro choice, one leaned far left while the other was more center. It is the laws that lead to more abortions. To say Protestants do not do anything is simply inaccurate

24 | destruction of earth | Gen 8:21 | Val | 219843
The Lord Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:6 and 7 And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of war; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Matthew 24:44-51 |

25 | Inherited Sin Nature | John 3:16 | Val | 219779
There is the word OR between innocent and righteous. The topic you chose to discuss is very difficult in that it is not addressed in the bible. The only place I can think of is when Davids baby died and David said something to the effect that someday I will go to see him. There are times in our life that we lose friends and family that we are not 100 percent sure where they will spend eternity. A loving pastor comforted me with these words. You can know that your loved one is in the hands of a righteous and just God. Trust Him God the father and His Son our Lord Jesus Christ. May you find His peace.
26 | Soul is Born, Inserted into the Body? | John 3:16 | Val | 219737
There are some things the Lord has not specifically told us. There are some things He has told us such as that He is the one who is the Creator of all the things in the earth, heavens, and seas. Anytime we usurp His role as Creator we are treading on dangerous ground. Be very careful in how you deal with God's creation. You will be held accountable by Him.
27 | Lost- backsliding; can't have kids | John 3:16 | Val | 219735
You will find peace when you accept your station in life. Develop a thankful heart. Make the most of the life you have been given. Seek the Lord for forgiveness of sins, wisdom and healing for your broken heart. Saturate yourself in his word daily. Think on things that are pure. Believe in Christ and His finished work on the cross. Remember that this is not a perfect world. Everyone who is a believer in Jesus has a cross to bear. When we go to be with the lord He will wipe away every tear. There are people worse off than you. Some have lost children. Some have rebellious children. Accept the life you have been given. Be thankful for life. Look around you for things to be thankful for and count your blessings. Determine to serve the Lord.
28 | isaiah7;13 | Luke | Val | 219698
Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, Luke 1:27 to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. Luke 1:28 And coming in, he said to her, "Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you." Luke 1:29 But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was. Luke 1:30 The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. Dan 8:16 And I heard the voice of a man between the banks of Ulai, and he called out and said, "Gabriel, give this man an understanding of the vision." Dan 8:17 So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; but he said to me, "Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end." Luke 1:19 The angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news. In the account of Gabriel appearing to Daniel he was frightened in his presence. We see that Mary was told not to be afraid. We may conclude from this that there was something about the angels appearance that would frighten a human being. We are not given those details. |

29 | Who are GOD's chosen people? | Bible general Archive 4 | Val | 219667
I am not sure I understand your question. The Jews are God's chosen people. They had a specific purpose in God's plan and still do. Chosen for salvation is a topic completely different. It depends on what perspective your question comes from. You are correct God called Abram out of the land of Ur and then his descendant Jacob's name was changed to Israel of which we call them Israelites. They are called Jews in the New Testament.
30 | Salvation for the Gentiles | Bible general Archive 4 | Val | 219632
God from the beginning offered salvation to the gentiles. We see this in the third chapter of Genesis. Abel was righteous, Cain was not. As time went on all mankind became exceedingly wicked except for Noah found in Genesis the sixth chapter. Thus the flood came and mankind began again with Noah and his three sons. Salvation means believing God. In the old testament people were saved by looking forward to the birth of Christ. In the present people are saved by looking back to the cross. Mankind has always had an opportunity to believe in the one true God. In the new testament we see the first gentile convert is Cornelius. You can find this in the book of Acts. Before that time people became what we call proselytes to the Jewish faith in Jehovah God. Christ broke down that dividing wall.
31 | Is the 4th Seal for good or bad? | Rev 6:16 | Val | 219631
In reading the chapter in its context we see from verse 16 and 17 the following Rev. 6:16 and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; Rev 6:17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" In the bible we see that God will one day punish evil. This passage deals with that promise. |

32 | meaning/purpose of life | Ps 73:25 | Val | 219547
The bible tells us the meaning and purpose of life. As you ready and study and apply the bible each day you will find new meaning and purpose. As you are lead by the Spirit of God you may one day speak to a lost person about the love and grace of God through His son Jesus Christ. Tomorrow you may see a person in neeed and you may be asked to supply that need. It may be a smile to a lonely heart. Everyday living in the spirit will open up new ways to share God's love with others. We are his hands, his feet, his people. The only gospel some people will ever read is the lives of those who follow Him. Follow Him well. Romans 15:1-6
33 | men and women as friends | John 13:35 | Val | 219546
It is not a good idea to become emotionally involved with a person of the opposite sex other than your spouse. This type of intimacy is supposed to be reserved for the spouse. In the marriage vows one takes the vow before God to forsake all others and cleave to your spouse. Since this marriage covenant is made between two people and God ordained marriage, breaking this covenant is serious. 1 Corinthians 6:12

35 | Who are "the least of these?" | Matt 25:40 | Val | 219367
I believe this judgment is on deeds. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. I believe there are degrees of punishment. Matt 11:22 "Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. |

36 | no more animal sacrifice | Heb 8:13 | Val | 218863
Dear YenisaRap, I am currently studying Jeremiah. I believe the following verses shed some light on your question. Jer 33:14 'Behold, days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will fulfill the good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Jer 33:15 'In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth. Jer 33:16 'In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will dwell in safety; and this is the name by which she will be called: the LORD is our righteousness.' Jer 33:17 "For thus says the LORD, 'David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel; Jer 33:18 and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man before Me to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings and to prepare sacrifices continually.' This is a promise made to Israel in the time of Jeremiah. Obviously, sacrifices were honored by God when they were done in His timing and in His ways. There are many things we do not understand. This is probably one of those topics I have never heard discussed but is it in the bible? Yes it is. Obviously God has a plan for the future. We in our finite minds cannot comprehend it so confusion comes in as to the why. We only learn the answers as we continue to study God's word. Then as we study we realize how much we do not know and we have different questions. It is a fascinating journey is it not? Good Question. |

37 | Not even for some fresh air??? | Lev 21:12 | Val | 217982
Verse 10 through 12. The high priest was not allowed to become ritually unclean, even at the death of his father or mother. His duties in the sanctuary could not be interrupted. For his exalted position before God, the high priest sometimes paid a high personal price. Reference book is the Nelson study bible. Personal note. As I understand it there was a rotation of priests. I am not understanding the part about going outside for fresh air. Do you think it was musty in there or something? I don't see preachers going outside for fresh air until their service is over. Same concept maybe?

Do a character study on the life of Moses. He interceded for Israel as he led them in the wilderness.
39 | The end part of Jonah? | Jonah | Val | 217744
Jonah seemed to suffer from depression. This is a remarkable story that shows that the Lord is concerned about the people of Nineveh who were ignorant of Him. It shows that the Lord is concerned about all people even those who do terrible things. He ask Jonah to preach to them and many were saved. It is a beautiful story. Jonah as a prophet was to obey. It shows that the Lord can use all kinds of people for His glory.
40 | Are we going thru the Tribulation | 2 Tim 3:12 | Val | 217392
All who live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. I would recommend reading the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Notice the persecution and adversaries the Lord had. There is persecution over seas that is much much worse that what is encountered in the states. The tribulation that is spoken of for the end times is said to be much much worse that what has ever occurred in the history of the world. Joel. To answer you question no we are not going through the great tribulation now. In the book of Joel it says that the moon will be turned to blood. Joel 2:31. That has not happened in the history of the world. That is a future event.
