It is not proper to answer a question with a question. However I will indulge you this time. Isaiah 29 10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. 11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: 12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Daniel 12 8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. Revelation 1 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: (Revelations 1:1 has meaning in that Jesus (an incarnate Angel) received Revelation from God, and Jesus sent the Revelation to John via (his Angel). John sealed the work because he knew people of poor intent would try to change the words of Revelations for their own agenda. The real brillant act on the Apostle Johns part is that he did not tell the men of the Earth that he sealed his writings in Revelations. A two step - men assumed Revelations was written in a liner fashion. Revelation 5 1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? So you see Angels have sealed things and hidden some things from man. However men and woman will be full partners, and I have been advised that it is wise to think of humans and Angels as one reality - and it makes sense to me because I have been on Earth working for and along side men and woman for a while as a mortal. I do not view humans as less than Angels. You should understand that in the Universe there are good Angels and bad ones - also there are Angels trying to decide which way they will go. |

continued from previous post... (for Aften1) Here is a partial list of the codes of the prophecies being interpreted by the Bible itself. There are others as well if you are really interested. If you just let the Bible interpret it's own sayings, you will find that it IS possible to understand what is being said in the prophecies. the sea – denotes peoples, nations, multitudes and tongues (the "then-known" world) Rev. 17:15 the earth – a new world or land unknown in Bible times – Rev. 13:11 and 10:2 the four winds – Blowing winds represent destruction, plagues, wars, etc. – Isa. 40:7 and 24; Hosea 8:7; Matt. 7:27. Winds held back are great destructions held in check by divine intervention – Rev. 7:1-3 beasts – world dominating nations or kingdoms – Dan. 7:23 a beast rising out of the wind-blown sea – a nation or kingdom rising out of political strife and discord (wars between nations) to dominate the world – e.g. Dan. 7:2-3 and Rev. 13:1 a beast rising out of the earth – would be a new nation (previously unknown) rising out of a previously unknown land and dominating the world. – Rev. 13:11, 14 and 16 a king – symbol of the nation which he rules over – Dan. 2:37-39 and 7:17 and 23 horn – nation or kingdom – Dan. 7:24 and 8:3,8 and 20-22 wings - speed or swiftness – Deut. 28:29; Jer. 4:13 symbolic day – a year of real time – Num. 14:34; Ezek. 4:6. Also note the "seventy weeks" of Dan. 9:24 translates literally as "seventy weeks of years". Given seven days per week one symbolic week would be seven years of real time – seven days per week (seventy weeks is 490 years: 7 x 70). see also Isa. 34:8, 61:2 and 63:4 symbolic month – 30 years of real time according to the Hebrew calendar of 30 days per month symbolic year – 360 years of real time according to the Hebrew calendar of 360 days per year time – one symbolic year – Dan. 7:25 and 12:7 time, times and the dividing of time or time, times and a half – would be three and a half symbolic years or 1260 symbolic days – 1260 years of real time the half hour – in Rev. 8:1 is approx. one week of real time (day for a year - 1/2 day (12 hours) equals 1/2 year (6 months) therefore 2 hours equals 1 month (4 weeks), 1 hour equals 2 weeks, 1/2 hour is therefore approx one week) the glorious holy mountain – in Dan. 11:45 is Jerusalem - Dan. 9:16 a Jew – spiritual Israel, a true Christian – Rom. 2:28; Gal. 3:7, 28 and 29 a pure woman – God's people or church – Isa. 62:5; Matt. 25:1; John 3:29; II Cor. 11:2; Rev. 14:4 a wicked woman – a false church a woman riding upon a beast – Rev. 17:1-6 – is therefore a false church using political powers to enforce its religious laws the host and stars of heaven – God's people – Dan. 8:10 and 24 and 12:3 the Prince of the host – Jesus – Dan. 8:11 and 25, 10:21 and 12:1 grass – all living flesh – Isa. 40:6; James 1:10; I Peter 1:24 trees – mighty men of the earth – Judges 9:7-21; Ps. chapt. 1; Ezek. chapt. 17; Dan. 4:20-22; Matt. 3:10 and 12:33 the sword of the Spirit – the Word of God – Heb. 4:12; Eph. 6:17; II Thess. 2:8; Rev. 1:16, 2:16 and 19:15 the cup in God’s hand – symbol of His wrath – Isa. 51:21-23 and 54:8 and 9; Jer. 13:13, 25:15-38 and 51:6-11; Ezek. 23:31-35; Matt. 20:22, 23 and 26:39, 42; Mark 4:36; Luke 22:42; John 18:11; Rev. 14:10 the dregs thereof – would be the last of the cup poured out at the very end (and the most bitter) gold – faith – Job 23:10; Dan. 12:10 I Peter 1:7 gold tried in the fire – faith made perfect in the furnace of affliction – Isa. 48:10 white raiment – clothed in righteousness – Rev. 19:8 eyesalve (enabling one to see) – the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the discerning of good from evil – Rev. 3:18 Anyway, I hope this helps. I know I've only scratched the surface here. There are other texts that "decode" the symbols used in the prophecies, and other symbols as well that I haven't mentioned. This is just a sample of how the Bible interprets itself. Sorry I had to divide this up into two posts. It wouldn't let me submit this all in one post. |

Again the Books of Daniel, Revelation and Isiah are sealed works. One does not know what the author is saying until the book is decoded. There is a method. For instance the book of Revelation should read smoothly and should not jump around on subjects leaving the reader in the dark to what is really being said. The Apostle John had a structure for the Book of Revelation. 1. Persons are more important than places and places are more important than things. |

The Holy Spirit (supplying spiritual ears)is the decoder. If you have not been born again you cannot understand the Gospel of Christ, let alone prophecy: 2 Corinthians 4 3But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. Matthew 13:14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: "Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; Acts 28:26 saying, "Go to this people and say: "Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive; Rev 3 6"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."' |

Pastor Glenn - I see you as a good person. You are also right that people should not fear the doings as described in the Book of Revelation. I think the reason some people do fear the writings is because they do not understand what is being said. The writings do not make sense in a liner fashion one can follow. The Apostle John coded the writings - If you know the code, the writings make sense (also you need to be able to speak - what I call Universal Angel speak in a few of the verses). The Book of Revelation has been decoded and a certian (Great Church) has reviwed the work and given it a passing grade. The proof will becomeing out. I know what the Spirit is saying to my church, and we will overcome. Freedom with Jesus and The Almighty God and The Father of Creation is the goal. |

Aften1, You said, "The bottom line is that Christianity has missed the identification of the Trinity. The Father, The Son , The Holy Ghost. Father, God Almighty, and the Son of God. Father, Immanuel and Jesus." Your church is missing it by not recognizing the basic truth that Jesus is the Immanuel of Is 7:14. Who else besides Jesus Christ could possibly have been born of a virgin? Also the Holy Spirit is a person, not mearly a "power": Mark 3:29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation"-- Luke 12:10 "And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. Why would Jesus say that concerning some unconcious "spirit power"? Did you believe the Watchtower when it predicted Jesus' return several times over the last 30 years. The last time was supposed to be 2001, but they were wrong again. Now, they suddenly have found the "code" of Revelation? Wake up Aften1: Deuteronomy 18 22when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him. Based on your core beliefs, I assume your "Great Church" to be Jahovah's Witnesses. Maybe I am wrong about that, but since you have not denied it, I think that I am right that you are of the JWs. If Jesus was Gabriel or Michael the Archangel, then He could not have the power to forgive sins or rise from the dead or be the Lamb without spot or blemish: Matthew 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Pastor Glenn |

Pastor Glenn: I have noticed that 15 different members of this forum have tried to reach aften1 with the trueth of the scriptures. May God Bless you as you continue in trying to reach this confused person. KJV Acts 5:3-4 3. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4. Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. You cannot lie to a force. In verse 3 his heart lied to the Holy Ghost, of whom we see is God in verse 4. God Bless |
