1 | Woman's sin worse than man's? | Eph 5:33 | glory777 | 65624
Sorry, Rabbi Mark- But not onlydoes it sound to me as though Adam passed the buck to Eve, but that he also passed the buck to God - The woman YOU gave me". You have given no proof that Adam wasn't there when Eve took of the fruit and I don't think you can find any, so your assumption that he wasn't there is just as valid as mine if I say he was. No condemnation here, just saying that this may be one area no one has proof of either way. I never thought of the matter that Adam wanted to share whatever Eve would have to face. Good food for thought. But is that rational and you don't have proof for that, either. No one forced it down his throat, it was his choice to choose his mate over God. Question - wasn't he, not only turning dominion of the earth over to Satan by his action, but also, in a sense, turning dominion over to his wife? Should start a war here with this one! Debbie |

2 | Woman's sin worse than man's? | Eph 5:33 | Morant61 | 65634
Greetings Debbie! No matter how you cut it, whether Adam was there when Eve ate or not, Adam simply ate what Eve gave him without any regard for God's command. But, he sure proved our superiority to women didn't he? ;-) The bottom line: Adam and Eve both sinned against God's command and as a result sin entered the world. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
