1 | reply question to 1 corinth 15 question | 1 Cor 15:52 | Val | 216377
Because if you take Revelation literally and interpret it the same way you interpret other parts of the bible applying the same rules the conclusion these who have earnestly studied it come to is a pre-trib or mid-trib rapture. People who do not take Revelation literally have to ignore large portions of scripture which they symbolize or spiritualize or say it has already happened. The sin issue you speak of has nothing to do with the rapture of the church. The sin issue is a moral issue. When you look around you will always see sin and wonder and be confused. It is not our place to judge someone else's salvation. It is our place to look inside and judge ourselves. Wasn't it Peter who asked the Lord about John when the Lord told Peter what would happen to him and the Lord's reply was what is that to you, you follow me.

Why would God want us to know so much about the events that occur after the rapture if the rapture is pre trib. I believe the rapture is going to post trib because God gave us so much information with the trib period and beyond. God gave so much end time information throughout the whole bible including King Nebacanezzers dream and in the Gospels. The bible was written for everyone and if the church is raptured pre trib then Revelations is really only for the people not raptured. The church would have to be refined through the tribulation to be the perfect bride for Jesus. The church needs to understand that they will have to lay down their life and fully rely on God and nothing more is going to make that happen but the tribulation period. We would need to do that by not taking the mark of the beast. There will be the people who will keep hiding in the pockets of mercy. They wont want to go with the authority of the beast and they still are not ready to rely fully on God. They will be the resisters. They will not be raptured but if they make it through Armagedon then they will be the people that will not have resurrected bodies and they will be the ones through the 1000 year reign that will still marry and have children. I am no expert by any means but my explaination that I believe I hope you understand. Please reply and let me know what I might be missing or neglecting in my explaination. I realize my spelling is not perfect with the couple of names I mentioned. I typed this without looking up the correct spelling of those couple of words. |

I don't know what logic you use in your first question. Do you read the old testament? The Lord through the prophets always told the people what to expect in the future. This is what showed that a prophet was a true prophet of the Lord is that 100 percent of what he said had to come true. For instance, look at when Israel went from monotheism to having a human king over them. The Lord told them exactly what would happen to their sons and daughters, their possessions and so forth. Because the wanted to be like pagan nations around them, the Lord let them have kings. The Lord always told them what the future would bring, always according to their choices. So your questions puzzles me. Secondly, in King Nebuchadnezzar life, the Lord through the prophet Daniel told him exactly what would happen to him. Nebuchadnezzar was a pagan king. Individual christians are being sanctified daily. So I am not understanding why you think this is a future event, i. e. sanctification aka refined, etc.

Sorry, you are right. I didnt mean the dream. What I wanted to refer to is the 70 weeks thing that Daniel prophesied. Sorry for the confusion. I was just noting something from the old testiment that was related to the end times. I do realize the dream was about the 4 nations that will come to power. I am embarrassed.
