Subject: reply question to 1 corinth 15 question |
Bible Note: But why does 1 Corinth 15 specifically say the last trumpet. I guess I am hung up on the word "last." To me this would refer to a series of trumpets. I will take your theory with me because it makes a valid point too. Why is it that the majority think that the rapture will be pre trib. Since this has been a debate within the church forever, why is it that the church doesnt prepare us for the possiblity for both ways. It seems that most churches teach pre trib and be done with it. It also seems that many churches dont even discuss the endtimes unless specific questions are asked by an individual. I think it should be a very important topic and that is allows people to understand how important it is to have your heart in the right place now. I think that too many people think it is enough to only believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he died for our sins. They dont have a true relationship with God. They dont repent of their sins and try to stay away from that sin. They may repent but they keep sinning the same sin. They may go to church every Sunday but that is it. They dont think anything again about it until next Sunday. If the rapture would be post trib, they will be fooled and will be the offended that will eventually fall away. |
