Bible Note: I don't know what logic you use in your first question. Do you read the old testament? The Lord through the prophets always told the people what to expect in the future. This is what showed that a prophet was a true prophet of the Lord is that 100 percent of what he said had to come true. For instance, look at when Israel went from monotheism to having a human king over them. The Lord told them exactly what would happen to their sons and daughters, their possessions and so forth. Because the wanted to be like pagan nations around them, the Lord let them have kings. The Lord always told them what the future would bring, always according to their choices. So your questions puzzles me. Secondly, in King Nebuchadnezzar life, the Lord through the prophet Daniel told him exactly what would happen to him. Nebuchadnezzar was a pagan king. Individual christians are being sanctified daily. So I am not understanding why you think this is a future event, i. e. sanctification aka refined, etc. |
