Joe I did not conclude anything. I simply used it as an example of a on going debate over this subject that currently respected theologians were engaged in, that you imply is an cut and dried issue. The subject is not as open and shut as you state it. That is all I'm trying to say. There are mysteries of God that have not yet been revealed to us. I merely stated while salvation apart from the preaching of Jesus seems unlikely to me, the Bible does not offer conclusive doctrine that it can not happen. Therefore neither you nor I should attempt to say decisively that it in fact does not happen. I’m still a believer that God can accomplish what He desires, in ways He desires.
