Please see Lev.23:32 Mk 15:42 Lk 23:54-56 24:1 Jn 19:31. The sabbath starts at sunset the end of the day of prepartion which is Friday the sisth day and last to the following sunset. The beast who thinks to change time and laws will change the sabbath to the first day of the week which is her mark and shall seek to inforce this very death penality as she has done in the past. Ouch to keepers of the seventh day sabbath. He died for me the death I deserve, Paul and Peter as well as others died for the faith. I maybe called to do the same. A whole culture was hunted at one time to be put to death. only a very few lived to join with the reformers and they did in the very end yeild the faith. History of the Waldenes. Look them up. Tom, I never knew what you shared about the sabbath until recently. Did you know how the Greek word sabbaton is translated in the New Testament? Like that verse in John 19:31 that Candy Lee used - that Greek word is used twice. Once where it says it was the first day of the WEEK. The other when it talks about being a special sabbath. I just checked my strongs out for other places for "week" and it always used Sabbaton. Interesting. I wonder if that backs up what some have said about the sabbath MEANING ANY day of the week? Just a thought. TommyS |
