1 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | Mommapbs | 98432 | ||
Hank, I'm coming into this late but the gist of what I am reading, that a prophetic day is a year? "But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day." 2 Peter 3:8 Therefore, when Revelation speaks of one thousand two hundred and sixty days, how long would this really be? Could God create the earth in 6 days or 6,000 years? Does it really matter? Not if we believe God. Why are we focusing on length of times when we are to discern the sign of the times? (Mt 16:33) BTW, how many angels do you think could dance on the head of a pin? I guess that depends upon how many God wanted to do so (Maybe He has different head sizes to accomodate HIS number dancing!) I just love your posts, they almost always bring a smile. mommapbs |

Hi mommapbs, We all focus on the length of time just as that was Daniel's primary question and the answer was "sealed until the time of the End." He kept seeking more info until he was told the End of the "purging and purifying for many" would be encompassed within 1290 days. Dan.12:11 Jesus calls this the great tribulation and states that, at the abomination in the Temple, we will "know the End is near." So what matters depends on this sign to begin with. I find five Catalysts of this Endtime period. The first requires the "rule of Babylon the Great over the kings of the earth" because Ten Kings will destroy the city in one hour before Antichrist "takes peace from the earth." Mel |
