EdB, Do you think the 42 months, or 1260 days, end within 3 1/2 days of the 7th Trumpet? Mel |

2 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | EdB | 97358
Mel The picture painted in Revelation is two periods of 3 1/2 years. The first is concluded before the second starts and in between the 7th trumpet sounds. However Revelation does not reveal the time frame from the end of the first period to the start of the second nor does it indicate when in the interim period the seventh trumpet is sounded. If we suppose the events happen in rapid succession then yes the seventh trumpet will sound immediately after the 3 ½ day period and after the earth quakes. However there could be a time span of an undisclosed length of time between the first half 3 ½ years and the second and the trumpet could sound at any time in between. However since Jesus was the fulfillment of the spring feasts or the planting feasts I fill Revelation and His second coming will be the fulfillment of the fall or harvest feasts. These feast take place in fairly rapid succession with little time in between. Therefore it is my opinion (and only my opinion) that yes the seventh trumpet will sound as the chaos of the earthquakes subside and shortly thereafter the world will see the Antichrist reveal his true nature. EdB, I like most of your response. I wish you would give your support for thinking there is an undetermined amount of time between the two periods of 42 months. Also, why do you believe the 7th Trumpet sounds between these two periods? Do you have any Scripture for either of these statements? Thank you, Mel |

4 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | EdB | 97371
Mel My support for the two periods is the fact this is the sequence given in Daniel 9:27. I view Chapter 8 of Revelations as the beginning of Daniel's 70th week Daniel 9:24-27. Up to this point everything we see in Revelation is from Heaven's perspective now the view changes to earth's. In Revelation chapters 8 and 9 we see the 5 trumpets sound, in chapter 8 the first 4 trumpets result in what we could call natural disaster or things that effect the earth directly and men consequently. In chapter 9 with the fifth trumpet and sixth trumpet we begin to see things that directly effect man. In Chapter 10 our eyes are once again diverted to heaven in what appears to be a little interlude, very similar to the one we saw between the 6 and 7th seal in Chapters 6-8. It is almost like God is using this to set the stage for what comes next. We see the little book. Then the description of the 3 witnesses and the warning the third and final woe is coming shortly Rev 10-11. Verse 15 then proclaims the seventh trumpet is sounded and we prepare for the devastation that will follow. In Revelation 12 we are given a brief historical panorama beginning with Israel and how God used her to bring forth the Messiah up to the point that Satan is finally expelled once and for all from Heaven. Once again setting the stage for the final action on earth. Chapter 13 then launches the last half of Daniel’s 70th week. In this we see the Antichrist reveal himself, as he seeks man’s worship and the is earth thrown in chaos and disaster. The world is literally turned upside down and Satan through his antichrist and false prophet try to destroy all visages of God upon earth. The sequence is the first 6 trumpets, some narrative, then the 7 th trumpet and then some more narrative. Many interpret the narrative as signifying an interlude or a passage of time. No where is there a description or definition of how much time transpires. I can see where this could be a short amount almost unnoticeable by those on earth or longer a time when things seem to begin to settle down only to be thrown into more turmoil than man could ever imagine. I hope this answers your question if not let me know and I will go deeper into it. EdB |

5 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 97948
EdB, Interesting comments that show a lot of study. On the question of timine, we learn that "chronos-time is no longer in the days whenever the 7th Trumpet is about to sound." Rev.10:6,7. Therefore, whatever occurs as of that Trumpet must take place after the tribulation ends. Also, "no one can enter the Temple in heaven until the last plague empties in midair." Rev.15:8. Mel |

6 | "Chronos-time" is no longer? | Mark 9:1 | Radioman2 | 97990
"Chronos-time is no longer in the days whenever the 7th Trumpet is about to sound (Rev.10:6,7)"? The King James Version says: "that there should be time no longer:" Re 10:6 (KJV) And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: The NASB says: "that there will be DELAY no longer, " NASB Revelation 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, WHO CREATED HEAVEN AND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE EARTH AND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE SEA AND THE THINGS IN IT, that there will be delay no longer, The Amplified Bible says: "that NO MORE TIME SHOULD INTERVENE and there should be NO MORE WAITING OR DELAY." AMPLIFIED Revelation 10:6 And swore in the name of (by) Him Who lives forever and ever, Who created the heavens (sky) and all they contain, and the earth and all that it contains, and the sea and all that it contains. [He swore] that no more time should intervene and there should be no more waiting or delay, "Time" no longer? NASB Revelation 22:2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Note: "yielding its fruit every MONTH." --Radioman2 |

7 | "Chronos-time" is no longer? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 98018
Radioman2, All translations come from the Greek text. Rev.10:6 uses the greek word "chronos" to distinguish the time in question from "kairos." These two words occur in the final instructions to Christians that they were not to be concerned with times and seasons (sing: chronos and kairos). Why? Not only because we must wait until we "know the End is Near" (Matt.24:33), but because Paul said we do not need instructions as to each chronos and kairos. Now, Rev.11:18 is the one specific "kairos" time that is the "appointed time for Saints to be judged and rewarded." It will come at the 7th Trumpet. "Chronos-time" ceases within 3 and one half days after the Beast kills the Two Prophets. Daniel's 1290 days of "chronological" time will be cut short to the kairoi time of 1260 days ... right to the last "appointed" day. (That is the special meaning of kairos). But Jesus said only the Father knows the appointed day of His coming because only the Father knows when the last "fellowservant is killed who must be killed" before God avenges their blood. Rev.6:9-11. Mel |
