How did Mark 9:1 begin to be fulfilled, as you wrote, in Mark 9:2? Why did Jesus say that only "some" would taste death when they ALL died after Mark 9:2? What was the point of adding, in the Greek, that these "few" would not taste death by any means? Rev.12:10,11 reveals when "they love not their life unto death." It happens during the 42 months or 1260-day End of time. "Some will taste death *after* the Two Prophets finish their task of demonstrating God's Kingdom Power which occurs, as Jesus said, when "the Son of Man is about to come in glory." Matt.16:27,28. Verse 28 will be fulfilled in the few days before Christ appears in glory. See Meditation at www.lastday.net. Mel |

2 | Christ comes in power for 1260 days! | Mark 9:1 | DarcyA | 96986 | ||
Six days later, Jesus *took with Him Peter and James and John, and *brought them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; Notice not all the disciples saw it. Also notice Jesus' wording here would not TASTE DEATH. The other disciples would taste death before they see the Kingdom coming. The taste death shows that these disciples would taste death but have everlasting life. |
