You acquire knowledge by learning, going to school, reading books, watching instructional viedo's, etc. We learned that we gain knowledge from Genises 2. We as the human race gained the ability to learn when Eve gave Adam the fruit from the tree of knowledge. You notice that in Gen 2:9 (And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.) that we didn't eat of the tree of wisdom. You can see that God gives us wisdom by these verses: 1Ki 3:28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God [was] in him, to do judgment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 4:29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that [is] on the sea shore. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 4:30 And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. You acquire wisdom from God (Exd 36:2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, [even] every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it: ) so that you will know how to use the knowledge. You attain knowledge by learning. You can learn from experience. You touch your hand on a hot stove as a child. You burn your hand. You have now learned knowledge that the stove will burn your hand. You have gained wisdom if you use that knowledge to not touch the stove again. Therefore man can gain knowledge. God gives the wisdom to use the knowledge for His purposes.
