Hi Thanks for your reply. Above you said: "we can determine that God did not have any intention in letting Abraham go through with the sacrifice of his son." So are you saying that God did not mean what he said and was lying when HE said: "Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering..." Genesis 22:2 |

Hi Vintage68, Sorry but this forum is sometimes hard for me to figure out where to reply or post. Sorry my fault. No I am not trying to catch God in a lie. I am trying to understand this passage in the light of James 1. I have someone I am ministering too and they have asked this question. Just trying to find an answer. |
