1 | Christ comes in power for 1260 days! | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 97183
CDBJ, The 144,000 have the seal of the Father during the entire 1260 Endtime days. They also receive the seal (name) of the Lamb on the Lastday because they are not only the "Firstfruit unto God AND the Lamb" (14:1,4) but also become the Bridegroom's Gift (Gift of Son of Man to His Father) on that Day. They "follow the Lamb wherever He goes" as He reaps the wicked armies to the winepress of God's great anger over an area of 1600 stadia." Rev.14:1-5, Rev.14-20. Then they "come on the clouds of heaven with the Son of Man and "present Him to the Ancient of Days and sing the song of the Lamb" before the Court sits in judgment on the Beast. Dan.7:9-13, Rev.15:1-4. Then the Temple opens for the 3-Act Drama of Testimony, Tribunal and Triumph. Rev.7:9-17, Rev.8:1-5, Rev.11:15-19. I agree that Gentile Believers are mentioned in Rev.12:17. Satan persecutes them during the 1260 days. But, having come out of the great tribuation in 7:9-14, they learn they have won the reward offered to the Church in Rev.3:12, i.e., of "serving God day and night as Pillars in heaven's Temple" for 1000 years. Rev.7:15-17, Rev.20:4,5. So Rev.12:6 to Rev.13:18 occurs before the Testimony/Tribunal of Rev.7:9-8:5. The Triumhp of Trump 7 immediately follows the Tribunal of Seal 7. You state the section in Matt.24:15-21 is a warning to believers, not unbelievers!? Since Believers are not appointed to God's wrath, this section is rather a warning to Unbelievers. The remnant of Believers that have the seal of the Father will escape to the desert and not be harmed during the 1260 Endtime days! I agree the great tribulation is Satan's doing, yet Daniel and Revelation indicate that Believers as well as Israelis will be "purged or else purified and refined." Dan.12:10,11, Rev.12:10,11 and Zech.13:8,9. God uses the persecution of the great tribulation so that all Believers will be "worthy of the Father when Christ appears with all the Saints" as Paul prays in I Thess.3:13 and Jesus requires in Mark 8:38. Only "some must taste death during the 3 1/2 days after time is no longer and the 7th Trumpet is about to sound." I agree the great tribulation is not the wrath of God ... not even the 7 last Plagues because they only "complete God's anger." Rev.15:1 (Greek). The Plagues do not "complete His wrath" since that wrath occurs after the last Plague when Christ descends and "treads the winepress of God's wrath" in Rev.19:11-15. God's wrath, announced in heaven only at the 7th Trumpet, occurs after "chronos-time ends in the days before Trump 7 sounds." Rev.10:6,7. I therefore also agree with you that "the rapture and the wrath of God occur on the same day!" Believers will be "gathered together above" on the last day, including the 144,000 as the Firstfruit of the living harvest; but the Jewish Remant (not the 144,000) will "look up" after Christ appears with all the Saints because they will "know their redemption and kingdom is near." Luke 21:28,31. They will "beg to escape and to stand before the Son of Man." Believers will be "kept from the hour of trial." Rev.3:10. Jews will pray and beg to escape the trial "coming on all of earth's inhabitants" as Jesus urges in verses 35,36. Redemption of all Believers is a certainty long before the last day on which Jews will be rescued as per Joel 2:32. Just as you wrote, "Believers are not in darkness that that day should overtake them as a thief." You too have a great day and be preserved from hurricane Isabel this week. Mel |

2 | Christ comes in power for 1260 days! | Mark 9:1 | CDBJ | 97253
These posts are getting too strung out and need to be shortened so I will only consider one point on this post. What I was saying, is that Matthew 24 isn’t the wrath of God at all but the vengeance of the Devil. The short time of the great tribulation or 3 ½ years or 1260 days comes about as a result of the devil coming down to earth with a vengeance. Rev. 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. The short time is 1260 days or 3 ½ years. You say that Matthew 24:15-21 is a warning to unbelievers! Since when are unbelievers ever exhorted to pray, since God can’t hear them? John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. The whole key to the seven seals in Revelation is the fact that they don’t represent God’s wrath but the vengeance of the devil! The scroll that is opened up after all the seals are broken, starts the wrath of God, that is the contents of the book; everything else just leads up to it. The ones that come out of great tribulation are going to be us, the living believers at that time! Have a great day, CDBJ |

3 | Christ comes in power for 1260 days! | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 97361
CDBJ, I agree with you that the 1260 days of great tribulation are strictly a time of Satan's wrath. That is why no announcement from heaven is made that "God's wrath has come" until the 7th Trumpet sounds. However, in the 6th Seal we find that Unbelievers know the "Day of God's wrath has come" and they know this before the 7th Trumpet sounds! How much will Unbelievers know? We need to realize that John has not yet revealed the contents of the "seven thunders" that spoke out of the "little scroll." Because, in Seal 6, they even know "the DAy of the Lamb's wrath has come." My argument about Unbelievers praying for mercy is based on three Scriptural facts: One: Jesus said that Unbelievers will "mourn" when He appears with all the Saints. Two: Jesus states that those who are "willing to die will be kept alive, but those who seek to save themselves will perish ... on that day." Luke 17:30,33. Three: Jesus does not urge Believers to "pray to escape all these things" on the day He appears, but it is obvious that only Unbelievers "pray to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:36. Jesus states this after "these things cause men's hearts to fail who are upon all the earth." Believers will all be "gathered together above on one of the days after the great tribulation" (Mark 13:24-27), so Jesus is urging Unbelieving Jews to "look up and beg to escape these things and to stand before the Son of Man."
