Bible Note: I was not "inspired" in the sense of 2 Pet 2:21, which is why I qualified my statement with "think" and "at present". I was merely suggesting that disagreeing with "orthodox confessions and theologians" is not equivalent to rebeling against the Bible. The latter incurs divine judgment. The former does not although it may unintentionally offend some people. In any case, I fail to see the relevancy of Spurgeon's comments to the discussion. |
