Subject: Is Jesus YHWH? |
Bible Note: Have you ever driven along highways and seen high voltage lines with signs that say, Keep Out danger? Most of us have.If a wire was run directly from the high voltage lines to your house or any house, it would blow it up! So they come and set a pole near your house and hang upon it a 'Transformer' a wire is run from the High Voltage line to the transformer and the power is reduced - a wire is then run from the 'Transformer' into your home and you are able to enjoy a power that will not harm you. If God had come into this world in all of His Power and Glory, He would have consumed us. But a 'body' of flesh and blood became a 'Transformer' to reduce the Power! Jesus came and He was hung upon a tree. In so doing, He became our 'Transformer' and we can look upon Him, Hear Him, Touch Him, Handle Him, and Enjoy His Power that will neither harm nor consume us.Greater love hath no man than this, that He would lay down His life for his friends. When Jesus was manifested in the flesh, it was not a second person of the Godhead come down to earth. God did not so love the world that he said, "Come Son, I love them down there so much, you go down and die for them!" Such a concept is totally spurious and absurd! In light of this truth, John 3:16 now takes on significance of meaning never considered before, for in reality it can simply read: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten - (BODY) - that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God did not give the blood of his son, but rather he gave his own blood exactly as Paul wrote in Acts 20:28 "...GOD, WHICH HE HATH PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD" If God, sent a son, the second person in the godhead, to die on the cross, then He instituted CHILD SACRIFICE. This is in total disharmony with anything Biblical concerning the nature of God. God did not send his son, a second person in the godhead to die for mankind, He came Himself in the body of Jesus Christ! The body of Jesus Christ is the only visible manifestation of God we will ever see... because God is a Spirit. The incarnation provided a 'body' for that Spirit to visibly dwell in - ie., Emmanuel, God with us in the Flesh... Colossians 2:9 states it so succinctly: "For in Him (Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. I have a whole list of scriptures to back me up. And futhermore, A theophany was a temporary visible manifestation of God before the incarnation: Theopanies - Temporary appearances by God in the Old Testament occurred more than once. If you want to question my belief then email me punkiedo_01@comcast.net I have plenty of scripture to back me up. Further more, you are treading on dangerous ground saying that god has multiple personalities. You have no biblical basis for this. I know what the word says. I also know that in Acts 2:38 when they asked what to do Peter said be baptized in JESUS name. in Matt 28:19 it says baptize in THE NAME of the father THE NAME of the son and THE NAME of the Holy Ghost. I am more than happy to discuss this with you as I love talking about MY SAVIOR that CAME HIMSELF AND DIED AND ROSE AGAIN. I feel like you are confused because your first comment said it was three now it is not three but one with three personalities. I think you need to take heed to 2 Tim 2:15. I know my scripture, and am able to interpret the word. Sometimes rather than going and pulling scriptures out of a hat you should read them the verse before and the one after and sometimes it takes reading the WHOLE chapter. Hope this helps... |
