Subject: Are there any scriptures for the rapture |
Bible Note: Hello Ebrain, The scriptures used for the rapture show/state that it takes place at the "last trumpet" 1 Cor. 15:51,52. It is written that the day of the Lord is a "day of the trumpet" Zeph.1:14-18. Jesus said that when he returns "he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet" Matthew 24:29-31. In Isaiah 27:13. it is written: And it shall come to pass in that day that the great trumpet shall be blown. These are just a few scriptures referring the sounding of a trumpet, now if they are not all the same event, then one thing is sure, the rapture takes place after the day of the Lord, as it is the "last trumpet" Please have a look at Rev.11:15, which is the 7th/last trumpet.
