Bible Note: Greetings Joe! Abraham's willingness to sacrifice Isaac is a particularly good example of what you are saying. The trip to the mountain took several days, if I recall correctly. It was his faith that caused him to make the journey. It was his faith that gave him the assurance that both he and his son would be coming back down the mountain.
