Subject: How Does Baptism Save? |
Bible Note: Hi Brad, The first century church translated the tachings that are now Col 2:12,Acts 2,Mark 16,Rom 6,et al to mean water baptism. I personally am not a Bible scholar but all my study has shown me that the baptism in water is required (Water and the Spirit - John 3) Acts 2 - Repentance (which presupposes belief) plus Baptism brings forgiveness of sins plus Holy Spirit. Water baptism is where we participate in the Death,Burial, and the Resurrection of Jesus, meet the Blood of Jesus (which forgives sin) and receive the Holy Spirit Rocky |
